Briefly about the history

 In 1995 the company ELLADA Praha s.r.o. (LTD) was founded as a precursor to the current company. Then a small family-owned company engaged in retail trade with various goods. In 2008, the company has undergone a complete restructuring and strengthening of the capital base. These steps allowed us to quickly enter the market, featuring new products and meeting modern consumers' demands for healthy food.

Current activities

Since 2008, the company's activities focus mainly on the packaging and distribution of dry food. Nowadays we are dynamically developing into new markets, expanding size of production, undertaking active employment policy and improving the quality of cooperation. By continually investing in human resources and production automation we achieve a very high degree of efficiency.

Our customers bases includes supermarkets, retail chains, wholesalers, processors and, eventually, end consumers themselves. The assortment carries many types of healthy nutrition food, rice, pulses, beans, cereals, vegetable oils, spices and other raw materials indispensable in the kitchen. Raw materials in conventional quality (ie NON-ORGANIC) are imported from many corners of our beautiful planet. Supplies come from selected manufacturers in Ukraine, Canada, Greece, Thailand, China, Russia, Italy, Argentina, Ethiopia and others. Diversification of sources enables us to provide competitively priced and carefully selected quality products.

Our secondary activities include:

• customer service for vending machines ZUMMO
• design and production of textiles, manufacture of luxury scarves

Our label stands for quality

Foods processed and packed under the registered trademark of ARAX, which is a synonym for high quality and healthy products with reasonable price tag.

With the emphasis on quality and food safety management system we aplicate the HACCP system to oversee critical points in production of raw materials input and output, and working with food chemistry laboratory at the State Veterinary Institute in Prague (Prague 6, Suchdol), thanks to whose help we provide reliable high quality standard.

Our Mission

The most important goal is to extend and reinforce positive habits for healthy eating, which gains in importance thanks to modern living trends .

Corporate responsibility

Each year we devote to charitable and social events in an amount equal to one average daily earnings of the company. Actions that we support are mostly lectures on proper diet, children's camps and stays for allergy sufferers, raw material supply to sheltered workshops, etc.
